The Masked Singer Season 15: Renewal Status, Release Schedule, and Future Plans Revealed

Fans of The Masked Singer are left hanging with no word yet on Season 15, even after the big Season 14 finale.

The Fox show kicked off back in January 2019 and blew up worldwide with its wild setup: celebs belting out tunes in crazy costumes, hiding who they are. Nick Cannon hosts, and the panel guesses based on sneaky clues mixed with the music and mystery.

Fox hasn’t said boo about bringing it back for 15, or if it’ll stick to the usual 2026 slot or switch things up.

From 2019 through 2024, it cranked out two seasons a year – spring and fall. But 2025 was just one, then a gap before Season 14 hit early 2026.

Fox Entertainment boss Rob Wade said they dialed it back on purpose to let everyone catch their breath after grinding through tough years, pandemic and all. “A lot of people forget that Masked Singer was actually the first show back during Covid. My point is it was incredibly taxing on that crew and that cast, and they’ve done a phenomenal job… It just felt like the right time to give the show and the very, very hardworking people involved in it a little breathing space to regroup creatively. But it’s not intended at the moment just to become a one-season a year. But we’ll make a decision on that as it comes up.”

No green light yet, but they’re not shutting the door on two seasons again. They often drop renewal news right around finales, so keep an eye out.

Viewership’s dipped from the glory days, but it still pulls a solid crowd and does well for Fox – good odds for more.

The panel’s a draw too: Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke.
