President Alvi congratulates Ebrahim Raisi on election as Iran President.
Pakistan’s President Dr. Arif Alvi felicitated Iran’s President-elect Ebrahim Raisi on his victory on June 18 presidential election.

In a congratulatory letter, President Alvi congratulated Raisi and the people of Iran on successful presidential elections.
Furthermore, he said that the Iranian people have reaffirmed their trust in their leadership for peace, stability and prosperity.
In the letter, President Alvi hoped that “under your leadership strong fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran will be further strengthened.”
President Arif Alvi also extended his best wishes to Ebrahim Raisi and the Iranian people.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated brother Ebrahim Raeesi on election as President of Iran.
In a tweet on Saturday, he felicitated the newly elected President of Iran.
Her called him brother Ebrahim Raisi and felicitated on his landmark victory in Iran’s 13th Presidential elections.
He further said we look forward to working with him for further strengthening our fraternal ties and for regional peace, progress and prosperity.
Ebrahim Raisi elected as President
Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli announced results, while addressing a press conference in Tehran on Saturday evening.
He said 28,933,004 voters have cast their ballots in the Friday election.
He further said that with over 59.31 million eligible voters, the turnout stood at 48.4 percent.
The winner, Seyed Ebrahim Raeisi, has garnered 17,926,345 votes.
