Transit Facility to Iran Closed in Chaghi; Valid Visa Now Mandatory

Balochistan authorities shut the Chaghi transit point to Iran on Wednesday per government directive, quoting the district’s Deputy Commissioner (DC).

The DC’s statement verified that the April 1 order halts the old transit setup. Travelers now need a valid passport and visa for entry, cleared only after meeting all legal steps.

The DC stressed full compliance with the new rules for Iran trips.

The move follows spiked regional strains since the February 28 flare-up, which killed top Iranian figures.
