Iran drones carry orphan’s name as US pilot hideout is destroyed
Iranian forces have launched a new wave of retaliatory drone and missile strikes, targeting US and Israeli military assets across the region. One drone was dedicated to orphaned toddler “Helma,” who survived a deadly attack on her family.
The operations are part of Iran’s retaliation against the US and Israel’s aerial aggression on February 28. National and revolutionary slogans were written on the Army’s “Arash 2” suicide drones. One drone carried the message: “For Helma, the daughter of Tabriz, the daughter of Iran.” Another drone displayed the name and photo of “wanted” Leigh R. Tate, commander of USS Spruance, responsible for killing over 170 children in Minab. The message read, “We will come for each one of you.”
Helma, an 18-month-old girl, is the only survivor of the five-member Mirzadeh family, whose father, mother, brother, and sister were killed by American bombs in Tabriz on March 26.
Strikes on US Assets and Pilot Hideouts
Since dawn Friday, the IRGC Navy has carried out the 91st wave of Operation True Promise 4, attacking US and Zionist military and infrastructure targets in the southern Persian Gulf using ballistic missiles, Qadir cruise missiles, and suicide drones.
In the North Indian Ocean, the US Abraham Lincoln strike group was targeted with four Qadr 380 cruise missiles. A secret hideout of American flight engineers and fighter pilots outside a base in the United Arab Emirates was hit with precision-guided missiles. According to the IRGC, reports and heavy ambulance traffic suggest many American personnel were killed or wounded. Iranian forces also attacked a US “MQ1” drone unit at Ali Al Salem airbase.
Massive Strike on Israeli-Occupied Territories
The attacks extended into Israeli-occupied areas. Troop deployments, military-industrial sites, and support equipment in western Tel Aviv and the port of Eilat were destroyed using long-range liquid, solid-fuel, and super-heavy missiles. The IRGC Aerospace Force, together with Yemeni forces, carried out this wave.
Explosions forced over five million settlers to shelter underground. The IRGC said this scale of destruction has “stripped the Zionist intelligence agencies of the ability to censor and distort the realities of the battlefield.”
The IRGC noted that combined operations against Zionist targets and US bases in the region are still ongoing.
